When I travel by myself or with the family, I make sure I stay in a comfortable and safe place. I have been travelling to Paris almost every other month and I searched for a place that I can call home.
Hotel R de Paris is a gem in Rue Clichy. It is located in the 9th arrondissement, which I think is the best area if you want to stay close to main attractions. If you are someone who loves to stroll, it is only a short walk to Moulin Rouge, Galeries LaFayette, and Palais Garnier to name a few. The metro is only 3 min walk from the hotel which is very convenient.
The rooms are standard Parisian size. If you are looking for huge rooms, go to an American chained hotel. Paris hotels, in general, has small rooms and two-person elevators so don’t be surprised. If you are travelling with family, don’t fret, they have family rooms available.
This is a 4-star boutique hotel so the beddings are of high quality. I am very picky when it comes to my bedding but theirs had lived up to my standards.
One thing I love about this hotel is their Hermes toiletries. Who does not want to own a piece of that luxury? So that speaks so much of this luxurious hotel.
For foodies like me, they serve a very good breakfast, which not your typical American breakfast. I bet you can’t tell as the photo I took didn’t justify the food since it was halfway done. Every time I take someone with me during my Paris trips, I always brag about their breakfast. I am not picky but I am not the type that you can easily please. They also have a tea time where they serve different pastries and tea of course. I personally have not tried this since I don’t get back to my hotel until my commitments are done, but my husband had and he loves it.
This hotel is not only aesthetically appealing in person but its modern contemporary look is “instragrammable” certified. So if you’ve decided to give this place a try, let me know and tell them Shey sent you. I’m pretty sure their first reaction will be “oh that girl who loves to take photos” in every corner of our hotel.
